Bernard Lagat

(born December 12, 1974 in Kapsabet, Kenya ) - Kenyan runner - middle representing the United States since 2 005. Olympic champion (silver in Athens and bronze in Sydney), 5- times world championship medalist, silver medalist of the world i ndoor championships in Birmingham. All medals (to 2004 inclusive) won starting at 1500 m for the color of Kenya. We successfully competed well over longer distances, winning the gold medal in world indoor championships in Budapest in 3000 m.
